Renowned Kazakh scientist, physicist, and inventor Manat Maulenbayuly has passed away in the state of California, USA. The sad news was confirmed by the International Association of Kazakh Scientists and Technologists (QIST).

The scientist began his academic career at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and later joined the research team of Nobel Prize laureate Samuel Ting. He also worked at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) and ETH Zurich in Switzerland. Later, he conducted research in the field of medical technology in the United States and contributed to the development of artificial intelligence technologies for the early detection of lung cancer. His scientific achievements and contributions to science and innovation will remain an important part of the international scientific community’s legacy.
