Representatives of the Television and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the international media cooperation forum titled “One Belt, One Road,” held in China.

The event took place on November 3 in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. It was organized by the People’s Daily newspaper and the Fujian Provincial Government. Representatives of 182 media outlets and organizations from 100 countries attended the forum.

The participants discussed ways to strengthen international media cooperation, promote mutual understanding among nations, and expand professional ties between journalists.

Dana Rysmukhamedova, Managing Director of the Kazinform International News Agency, which is part of the President’s Television and Radio Complex, delivered a speech at the forum. She noted that Chinese President Xi Jinping first introduced the “One Belt, One Road” initiative in Astana in 2013.

The forum also hosted the fourth meeting of the Council of the Belt and Road News Network (BRNN). Participants discussed expanding the exchange of news, photographs, and video materials among media organizations, launching joint projects, and organizing professional training seminars for journalists.

It is worth noting that a memorandum of cooperation between the President’s Television and Radio Complex and the People’s Daily newspaper was signed in 2024. The agreement aims to strengthen media and information ties between Kazakhstan and China.
